Ok. At random, I chose a lackluster photo of the hostel I stayed at in Beijing for three nights. Despite the low quality of the photograph (blame the photographer), the hostel was nice and I especially appreciated its location. Located within the Qianmen hutong just south of Tiananmen Square, it was buried within the traditional back alleys common in most of the original hutong of Beijing. Knowing that these hutong are in constant danger of being razed, this was kind of a special place.
